Mental health looks different for everyone.
Hundreds of people with lived experience shared colours, words, symbols, artwork and stories that represented mental health to them.
Stories of struggle. Recovery. Hope. Connection. Courage. And the people who helped along the way.
Those contributions have now been thoughtfully woven together into one collaborative design.
This is the Mental Health Month scarf.
What is Stories We Carry?
Stories We Carry is Impact Found Here’s national community co-design initiative.
Each project invites a community to contribute artwork, symbols, colours, words and messages of hope that are thoughtfully woven into one collaborative scarf.
Every collection becomes a lasting reminder that no one walks their journey alone and every scarf tells the story of the people who helped create it.
Wear what matters.
The finished scarf is more than something beautiful to wear. It’s a way to carry a story, start a conversation or show another that what they’re experiencing matters.
100% of proceeds help fundraise and create impact for organisations supporting mental health.
